Races 2013 - short-term EVS in Szczecin, Poland

On 3-6 August the finals of THE TALL SHIPS RACES will take place in
Szczecin. During the event up to 120 yachts and sailboats  will
arrive in Szczecin. We expect hundreds of thousands visitors in
Szczecin during the finals which are the finishing point of the battle
between the largest sailing ships in the world. The regatta will begin
in Aarhus, from there the boats will venture to Helsinki and Riga to
arrive in Szczecin on 3rd of August. 

We are looking for FOUR VOLUNTEERS who would like to help in
organizing this event. The project will last 2 months: 5TH JUNE –
15TH AUGUST 2013 and will take place in Szczecin, Poland. 

The main task of the volunteer will be to take care of the crew of one
of the vessels taking part in TTSR and to be a link between the crew
and the organisers of TTSR.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO:
•Are at least 18 years old 
•Speak English well
•Are flexible, creative and open to the challenges
•Can cope in difficult and stressfull situations
•Can work under the pressure
•Are healthy and in fit condition
The volunteers will be a part of the larger volunteer team coordinated
by the Municipality of Szczecin. Apart from typical on – arrival
training, the volunteers will take part in the trainings organized by
the Municipality (team building, Szczecin history, topography of the
city, sailor’s code of conduct).
