On 3-6 August *the finals of The Tall Ships Races* will take place in 
Szczecin. During the event up to 120 yachts and sailboats  will arrive 
in Szczecin. We expect hundreds of thousands visitors in Szczecin during 
the finals which are the finishing point of the battle between the 
largest sailing ships in the world.

We are looking for the volunteers who would like to help in organizing 
this event. The project will last 2 months: *5th June -- 15th August 
2013* and will take place in Szczecin, Poland.

The main task of the volunteer will be to take care of the crew of one 
of the vessels taking part in TTSR and to be a link between the crew and 
the organisers of TTSR and also work at the information points during 
this event.

In the mean time, the volunteers will have a chance to participate in 
the daily activities of Regional Volunteers Centre and Szczecin NGO 
Support Centre, which means meeting a lot of people, organizing events 
for local community such as Language Tandem Meetings and many others.

We provide volunteers with knowledge and skills necessary to fully enjoy 
and experience the project. There will be activities linked with the 
boats, water and nature as well as with the social media which will help 
to create an interactive journal of the project.

We are planning to host *20 volunteers from 5 countries* and we are 
still looking for *German, Spanish and Swedish volunteers* who:

. Are at least 18 years old
. Speak English well
. Are flexible, creative and open to the challenges
. Can cope in difficult and stressfull situations
. Can work under the pressure
. Are healthy and in fit condition

During the regatta the volunteers will be a part of the larger volunteer 
team coordinated by the Municipality of Szczecin. Apart from typical on 
-- arrival training, the volunteers will take part in the trainings 
organized by the Municipality (team building, Szczecin history, 
topography of the city, sailor's code of conduct).
