EVS Stage:

Description

10 months, 1^st November 2014 – 30^th August 2015.
Number of volunteers / stage:

12 volunteers (2 from each partner country)
EVS main activities:

1)Facilitating outdoor activities involving children in state custody 
(orphaned / abandoned)
- street dance workshops
- street animation workshops
- street forum-theatre workshops
- “trash-art” workshops

2)Local campaign for promoting the inclusion of orphan/abandoned 
children and to combat the child abandonment
- creating and organizing thematic public events on the type: “living 
library” and “photo voice”
- a website for promotion of: local volunteering involvement for 
inclusion of orphan or abandoned children, good practices and non-formal 
methods for inclusion of orphan or abandoned children

3)Interactive foreign language courses for orphan or abandoned children 
and other categories of minors in difficulty(native languages of volunteers)

4) Journalistic and promotional activities : website of the project, 
social media, community campaigns

For the partner association:
-300 euro sending cost / volunteer.

For the volunteer:
-Accommodation and utilities are free of charge; each volunteer will 
share a room with another person.
-Food allowance: 100 euro/month
-Pocket money: 60 euros/month
-Visa costs will be refunded 100%
-Transportation costs: refunded in the limit per country – see the 
program guide.

- To organize and facilitate art workshops(theatre, dance, origami, 
trash-art etc)

- To provide foreign language classes for this children;

- To develop and to implement a local campaign that promotes 
volunteering for the children with special needs in the community and 
raises the awareness regarding the needs of this children, their 
families and the centre / hospital

- Journalistic activities: through the project website and social media

8 volunteers (2/1 from each partner country)
EVS main activities:

- To organize and facilitate art workshopswith the children from the 
rural area of Albesti village;

- To provide English language classes for the children;

- to promote ecological concept (ecological activities) and a healthy 
lifestyle among the community

6 volunteers (1 from each partner country)
EVS main activities:

-Organization of cultural events (Live Library, forum theatre, art 
gallery) with the aim of raising awareness about the drug consumption 
and offer alternatives for the youngsters with drug addiction

-Provide training courses for youth in High-Schools about the negative 
effect of drug consumption

-Research study about the drug consumption in Romania and presenting 
live stories from youth that were struggling with this issue

-Journalistic activities: through the project website and social media
