eine türkische Organisation sucht sehr dringend zwei deutsche 
Freiwillige für 10 Monate ab April oder Mai 2014. Fragt bei Interesse

URGENT GERMAN EVS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Dear friends,

I hope my message finds you well.

We are looking for a German volunteer for our Project that is located in 
Kocaeli Turkey

Project period: 06.04.2014-06.02.2015 (last 10 months)

Project description: Kocaeli International Youth Centre is one year old, 
though it is quite new, there are more than 100 active local volunteers 
and during a year, through different activities and courses more than 
7.000 young people come to the centre. One of the main aims of the 
centre is to raise awareness of European Citizienship and create bridges 
between different countries and cultures. To reach that goal, Kocaeli 
International Youth Centre sees EVS as a great tool to gather young 
people and enable them to start long term cooperations among young people.

Besides, the main focus of Evs project is to create chances for young 
people with fewer opportunities to get access to the Youth in Action 
programme. We are going to host 2 volunteers under the EVS project 
called YOUth Can, between April 2014 and February 2015 in Izmit Kocaeli

The roles and responsibilities of volunteers at the centre

- Cooperation with technical staff

- Giving a mid term course depending on his/her skills, experience, 
mother toungue.

- Coordinating Facebook and Twitter accounts of youth centre in English. 
Preparing news and info pack about the activities of youth centre and 
sharing via social media tools.

- Writing online "Volunteer diary" and sharing his/her experience and 
sharing tips for the future volunteers.

- Assisting youth leaders at "youth camps" in different cities and 
regions. The camps are organised by youth centre for young people for free.

- Participating to youth information seminar and assisting the lecturer

NOTE: Just because the Project start date is so close. We can postpone 
the start day maximum 1 month and we can start the Project at the 
beginning of May.
