Drei EFD-Plätze ab Januar - betrifft Arbeit mit körperlich behinderten 
Menschen und wäre besonders für diejenigen unter euch interessant, die 
Praxiserfahrungen in dem Bereich sammeln möchten.

  EVS 2016 with physically disabled people in South of Spain. Córdoba.

EVS 2016 concerned to attend persons with a physical disability. We are 
an umbrella Organization placed in Córdoba(South of Spain)

We are looking for 3 Motivated volunteers concerned with disabled and/or 
elder people.

Our EVS shall begin on January 2016 and finishing by the middle of 
September 2016.

Our volunteer profile use to be young people with studies and/or 
background in issues related to disabled people Support services or 
Health services as follows:
psychology, physical therapy, nursing, health care, elder persons care 
or any other convenient to satisfy our users needs.

This background and/or experience is need in order to carry out positive 
tasks according to our users needs

Our project will be introduced in next October deadline and we shall 
close the selection process on August so we need to select our 
volunteers as soon as possible.


ABOUT US, our Umbrella Organization is formed by 515 workers and 34 
disabled people organizations and is responsible for a Disabled People 
Center, a Disabled people Day Unit Center and an Elderly people Center 
in Córdoba, south of Spain.
As well as two others Disabled people Day Unit Centers in the province 
(located in Lucena and Fernan Nuñez).

Apart from more than 6 other activity lines related to different businesses.


We are a Hosting, Sending and Coordinating accredited organization.

ABOUT OUR VOLUNTEERS, a fair communication Spanish language level is 
required in order to be able to talk with our users. Spaniss lessons 
shall be given to our volunteers during the firsts weeks of their 
voluntary service to accelerate their Spanish knowledge.

The volunteers shall be involved in the next tasks:

Escort service of disabled people, conversation with users, caregiver 
functions, support physiotherapists and Gym staff, support kitchen, 
support handicraft workshops, listening and communication with the 
guests and their families, support laundry and other according with day 
by day users needs.
