*Title: Let’s get to know each other*

*Youth exchange Poland – Ukraina - Germany*

*Date and place: 21 – 28 September 2016 (8 days), Radzyń Podlaski, Poland*

Target group:

*Young people 15-26 years old, 7 youth and 2 group leaders (withouth age 
limit)*from each country. We are open to include in our project young 
people with less opportunities.

We are looking for open mind people interesting in history, tradition 
and nature.

Objective: integration of young people, learning our cultures, countries 
and languages, intercultural dialogue to build openness and tolerance

Actions: integration workshops, workshops of national cuisine, workshops 
of traditional crafts, multimedia workshop, national evenings presenting 
culture of our countries, traditional games and sports (typical for each 
country), canoeing on the border of the European Union, educational 
trips aim to learn heritage cultural and natural heritage of the 
southern region of Podlasie.

Partner will be responsible for:

1.            1 name game, 1 energizer

2. Project dictionary: German words

3.            Funny games from your country / region (integration games)

4. Materials for national evening, for example. multimedia 
presentations, traditional snacks, music, dancing, etc.

5. recipe for international cuisine workshop - for Polish-Ukrainian 
-German lunch.

Project schedule

Day 1

Arrival and accommodation

Getting to know (name game), integration.

Programm and the Rules of the center

day 2

integration and name games.

Workshop: language animation – we will search for common elements in our 
languages, project dictionary

City game in Radzyń Podlaski

Presentation of our organizations, groups.

Evaluation in the national groups and leaders meeting.

Fireplace integration with music Polish, German and Ukrainian.

day 3

energizer German group

Workshop: traditional profesions /folk crafts in the village in Roskosz

Polish Evening: presentation of our region and culture, prepared by  
Polish group.

Evaluation in the national groups and leaders meeting.

day 4

Educational workshops at the State Museum at Majdanek – workshop about 
II World War with a guide.

Exploring Lublin--a city of many cultures

Evaluation in the national groups and leaders meeting.

day 5

energizer Polish group.

Workshop pedagogy adventure –  canoeing with picnic (Bug River, the EU 
border)

Evaluation in the national groups and leaders meeting.

Karaoke eveningin 4 languages: English, Polish, German and Ukrainian.

day 6

energizer German group.

Development and preparation of the concept of international workshops 
for young people - residents of the OHP in Radzyń Podlaska

Implementation of the planned workshop : funny games from your 
countries. Presentations of your countries, regions, groups.

Evaluation in the national groups and leaders meeting.

day 7

energizer Ukrainian group

Workshop: national cuisine – we will prepare together our national / 
traditional / favourite meals to combain international 
(Polis-Ukrainian-German) lunch for us

Multimedia Workshop: in international groups - preparing a presentation 
of the project.

Evaluation of the project - a summary of the implementation of the project.

Good By party - farewell

day 8

Project Summary, discussion and multimedia presentation prepared by the 
youth.

Budget:

Procect covered accommodation, food, all activities.

Participants have to pay their travel cost to Poland.
