Viskafors 2.0



Would you like to work with young people in a dynamic environment? Are
you interested in developing leadership skills and methods for youth
participation? Then you should apply for our new EVS-project, focusing
on youth work in youth centres.



Your project mission would be to, alongside experienced staff, involve
yourself in after school activities for young people aged 10-18 years
old. This could mean coming up with new activities in areas such as
sports, culture, handcraft etc. Your main role will be to function as
a coach to guide young people to implement their own ideas and
projects. You will mainly work in a youth centres: connected to a
school in the outskirts of the city of Borås. The centres contains a
café, workshop room and activity areas.



The hosting organisation, Borås Stad, is a Swedish municipality with
a lot of experience in hosting EVS-volunteers. We have several
on-going projects around the city and you will be a part of a fun crew

motivated person who likes to work with young people in a dynamic
environment and has a keen interest in developing activities to
stimulate non-formal learning.
