Open Interaction Association (Sofia, Bulgaria) is very experienced<br>
non-profit organization which has done many projects for young people and<br>
volunteering on National and International level. We work with people with<br>
disabilities and mainly with youngsters with hearing impairments. For more<br>

Now, for deadline 1st May we’re searching 5 people (between 18 -<br>
30) who want to take part in EVS following activities:<br>
<br>
WHAT to DO?<br>
The main activities will be working within and with different<br>
organizations for people with disabilities and contacting with different<br>
social networks and institutions. Also as you know 2012 is European Year<br>
for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. That’s why we plan<br>
to organize a lot of activities between the volunteers and older people.<br>
This way they can show and teach each other different skills and knowledge.<br>
<br>
WHO? 5 volunteers from 01.10.2012 to 31.03.2013. There will be advantage<br>
for volunteers with hearing impairments or people who have friends or<br>
someone from the family with disabilities. Also people have experience in<br>
social activities.<br>
<br>
MOST IMPORTANT: we are looking somebody who REALLY likes to be with<br>
and willing to work with people and youngsters with disabilities. <br>
<br>
question to volunteers: Do you have previous experience with people with<br>
disabilities? Have you worked before in the social network area?<br>

Practical information:<br>
<br>
- Accommodation: Volunteer will live with others volunteers in their own<br>
big<br>
flat in the Center of Sofia. There are all equipments, kitchen and<br>
bathrooms. Room will be <br>
double. <br>
<br>
- Training courses: we offer a lot of possibilities to participate in<br>
special workshops and training (about working with people with<br>
disabilities, making<br>
project, etc)<br>
- Language course: Bulgarian-100 hours per person. Sign language and<br>
International sign language during the whole project<br>
- Personal support - mentor, coordinator of work , coordinator of<br>
project <br>

1. Each volunteer has to send CV and motivate letter to <br>
