<br>
The project stars in 1st MAY 2013 and ends 31.12.2013 (8 months)<br><br>the project is already approved so, we have to look for the most suitable candidate now!!!<br> <br>Project details: the project is about mental health.<br>
<u>A. </u><u><span><span>volunteer</span>'s <span>tasks</span></span></u> <br>
<span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span>' <span><span>tasks</span></span> include: work in one
our rehabilitation units for people with mental health problems..we
have 2 boarding houses, and a day care centre.<br>
<span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span> support <span>the</span> users in their daily life, keep company, go out, take part in artistic workshops, therapeutic group meetings...and much more.<br>
EDRA also organizes every year some events in which <span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span> take part, such as: an art festival, bazaars, sport event for people with special needs, celebrations, etc.<br>
we have also recently started working on a blog, for which <span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span> will be responsible..and free to express ideas, put photos etc....<br>
and also promoting the idea of voluntarism and Youth in Action programme for the greek youths.<br><br>B. <u>Allowance / food / transportation:</u><br><span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span>, apart from <span>the</span> monthly allowance <span>of</span> 95 euros (fixed ammount for Greece), they get every month, in cash, money for food and trasportion, in total <u>290 euros</u>. <br>
<br>
C.<u> language courses / mentor </u><br><span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span> have language courses 2-4 hours /week with a private tutor .<br><span>the</span> <span>volunteers</span> have also regural meetings with <span>the</span> mentor , at least once a week. <br>
<br>d. <u><span></span></u><u>accomodation</u><br>
<span>the</span> <span><span>volunteer</span></span> will share an apartment with 3 other <span>volunteers</span> (most of the time girls, but this time, during your staying , there will be 2 boys for half of your project) <br>
<span>the</span> apartment is a very spacious and modern
apaent, with 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom,
2 balconies, fully equiped with all electrical devices, TV, DVD player,
internet connection , telephone (for incoming calls). <br>
<span>the</span> apartment is located in <span>the</span> centre <span>of</span> Athens, in an area called GAzi, near <span>the</span> historical center. The area is very popular with young people, with a lot <span>of</span> cafes, bars, restaurants. <br>
