<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>EVS project „WORLD MUSIC IN
KRAKÓW” in Poland! The project is scheduled for 10 months from
1st of October 2015 to 31st of July 2016. The theme of the
project is promoting the world music and learning about cultural
differences.</strong></p>
Cultural Center „Dworek Białoprądnicki” is the place where the
tradition and history meet with modernity. Among our cultural events
addressed to both children and grown-ups, there are lots of
concerts, theater arts and exhibitions. Cultural Club „Przegorzały”,
where we would like to host the volunteers is a branch of „Dworek
Białoprądnicki”, and in its everyday activities is guided by Pablo
Picasso’s quote: „All children are artists. The problem is how to
remain an artist when the child grows up”. The classes and events in
Cultural Club „Przegorzały” are focused on quality and having fun
right next to pride and respect for the work of each artist.
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>If you want to join us you
can do it by EVS project! </strong><br>
By coordinating the EVS project and hosting the volunteer our main
goal is to give young people space to develop their cultural and
artistic skills by discovering and learning new cultures. For the
volunteer working in new environment, especially in the field of
artistic may be very inspiring. The tasks assigned to the
volunteer are going to be connected with art – most likely <strong>music
and visual art</strong>. The most important task for our
volunteer would be teaching our local community about his/her
national culture via music or visual art creations.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">We imagine that by conducting
workshops and meetings with other artists in a climate of our
volunteer’s country culture. Conducting workshops aforementioned
would require some additional tasks to complete due to the events’
promotion. By those we understand making posters, posting news and
events’ details on Facebook and other social media platforms,
preparing workshops’ programme, sending invitations to the target
groups and recruiting the audience by live meetings. Accomplished
workshops will also require the summation and some report, as well
as enclosing the necessary materials to the institution’s
archives.In one word – the volunteer would share the every day
tasks with the regular staff. The volunteer is going to get and
develop the skills of working in diverse range of environment and
situations.</p>
