 EVS PARTNERSHIP PROPOSAL FROM STUDENT PLUS

Dear EVS partner, 

We are a Romanian hosting organization called Student Plus Foundation
- EVS accreditation no 2010-RO-30 - and we would like to apply for
the May 1st deadline with a hosting project for 3-4 volunteers, for
the activities of the Volunteer Center, Media Center and Language
Center, for a period of 10-12 months starting with September 1st (or
7) 2012. 

If you have suitable candidates, please send their CVS AND MOTIVATION
LETTERS to the email address office at studentplus.ro before April 18th.
During April 18th-21st  we would like to schedule the interviews with
the selected volunteers. Please check the activities  from the EVS
database

send ONLY candidates who fit the profile and activities of our
organization. 

If you have applicants who can stay shorter periods of time, we can
try to manage the duration of the EVS according to the availability of
the suitable candidates. 

Profile of the volunteers:

THE VOLUNTEER CENTER ACTIVITY:

- willingness to work in communication and PR: read & write emails to
organizations and volunteers, fill in databases, translate & update
the organization's websites and Facebook pages, do research on
voluntary service and write news

- willingness to work in the recruitment, counseling and training of
new volunteers (EVS activity, local activities), organizing events

- willingness to share about own culture and teach (using informal
methods) classes of his/her own mother tongue to the
Romanian volunteers and other beneficiaries (seniors, young people
etc.)

THE MEDIA CENTER ACTIVITY:

- willingness to create & update websites, multimedia products &
databases, maintenance of the computer lab

- organizing events and trainings for the Romanian volunteers
(multimedia trainings, volunteer service trainings)

- willingness to share about own culture and teach (using informal
methods) classes of his/her own mother tongue to the
Romanian volunteers and other beneficiaries (seniors, young people
etc.)

THE SENIORS ACADEMY & EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES ACTIVITY:

- willingness to share about own culture and teach (using informal
methods) classes of his/her own mother tongue to the
Romanian volunteers and other beneficiaries (seniors, young people
etc.) 

- willingness to teach English, German, Italian or Spanish to senior
citizens, volunteers and fewer opportunities young people

- willingness to participate in the counseling and training of new
volunteers (EVS activity, local activities), organizing events

Good knowledge of English language represents an advantage.
