PROJECT:

‘’Be a promoter of a healthy lifestyle: set the trend!’’ project is 
about setting trends and being a leader for other youth. We would like 
to host European volunteers in order to empower them as leaders for the 
community where they will volunteer. By setting as objective promotion 
of best practices towards and with young people we want to create a 
multiplier community for a healthy lifestyle. Young people are in search 
of models, role models and why not having one peer to peer experience.

Objectives;

-Empower young people to promote their example to the local community;

-Create a multiplier community for a healthy lifestyle and create debate 
about this;

-Start 3 youth initiatives in the rural local area with participation 
from all countries involved in the project;

As for the relevance to the general objectives of the Youth in Action 
Programme the project will:

*…promote young people’s active citizenship in general and their 
European citizenship in particular*due to the European approach we have 
in the project and the mixture of nationalities we involve. We will 
promote active citizenship by exlpaining wht rural communities should 
have their say, and whyyouth initiative are so valuable for the life of 
a healthy community.By explaining and leading by example we will give 
details about European citizenship and why it is not a vague concept 
without implementation. European citizenship will be shown everyday 
through the projectand its participants.

…*develops solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in 
particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union : 
*the trageted coomunity will experience the first Euroepan project and 
it will for sure change behaviours and attitudes. The young people 
situated in the rural area will have their chance to meet other young 
Europeans and start practicing their tolerance and understand what 
social cohesion is about. We will promote debates between the 
differences among the societies and countries, common approacheds and 
where we can build bridges in order to live a healthier life with better 
living conditions and better lifestyle.

*…fosters mutual understanding between young people in different 
countries : *the mix of young people we will have as volunteers and 
those who will participate will assure promotion of the first step 
knowing each other and asking questions about eachother, then through a 
facilitatedprocess we will promote the second step which is mutual 
understanding and beginning of friendships.
