Dear Partners, EVS future volunteers,

We are still looking for 1 EVS volunteer for our new project described 
lower. Our accreditation number is *2010-SK-07.*

Since our selected volunteer has cancelled his participation, this is an 
*URGENT CALL.*

"Zabky" is a Slovak NGO based in Kosice. Our activities are related to 
children's leisure time, non-formal education and volunteering.

At the beginning of year 2012 we have established new hosting place in 
the small village /Torysa/ situated nearby Košice. **

We are looking for*VOLUNTEER for the 1^st May 2012 deadline.

Volunteer's main activities will be:

-cooperating with a local non-formal group in process of preparing and 
realizing leisure time activities for children and youth

-assisting teachers in schools nearby /Torysa/ during English and other 
lessons

-assisting teachers during free-time activities for kids after classes 
-- participating on project focused on improving cooperation among Roma 
and non-Roma kids and destroying stereotypes

-helping with organising workshops about EVS for young unemployed people 
and college students

-English (or other language) conversation lessons

-managing activities in /Priestor/ (Space) - place for activities of 
youth, setting the room for activities, tidying up

-helping with running maternity centers´ activities

-creating free-time activities for youth in Torysa

-communication with future EVS volunteers during their preparation process

-introducing volunteer's own culture, country, traditions,... through 
non-formal activities

-basic garden maintenance (cutting the grass, watering flowers,...)

-administrating our web page

-preparing and organising occasional activities such as workshops, 
fests, presentations,...


*The project starts in September 2012 and will last for 10 months, or 
upon volunteer's availability.

Volunteer should be *_aware _*that he/she:

-will be only volunteer in our organisation till the end of this year, 
in January 2013 second volunteer will start service and they will share 
the bedroom

-is going to live in small village (1500 inhabitants) with fewer 
opportunities to join some cultural events

-is going to have two working places -- /Priestor/ (/Space) /the place 
for free-time activities for people from Torysa and elementary school in 
neighbour village, volunteer will travel by local bus

-has to be _independent, responsible and willing to share his/her 
abilities_ to improve our project
