Open Interaction Association (Sofia, Bulgaria) is very experienced
non-profit organization which has done many projects for young people
and
volunteering on National and International level. We work with people
with
disabilities and mainly with youngsters with hearing impairments. For
more
information: oia-bg.org 

Now, for deadline 1st May we’re searching 5 people (between 18 -
30) who want to take part in EVS following activities:

WHAT to DO?
The main activities will be working within and with different
organizations for people with disabilities and contacting with
different
social networks and institutions. Also as you know 2012 is European
Year
for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. That’s why we
plan
to organize a lot of activities between the volunteers and older
people.
This way they can show and teach each other different skills and
knowledge.

WHO? 5 volunteers from 01.10.2012 to 31.03.2013. There will be
advantage
for volunteers with hearing impairments or people who have friends or
someone from the family with disabilities. Also people have experience
in
social activities.

MOST IMPORTANT: we are looking somebody who REALLY likes to be with
and willing to work with people and youngsters with disabilities.

with
disabilities? Have you worked before in the social network area?

Practical information:

- Accommodation: Volunteer will live with others volunteers in their
own
big
flat in the Center of Sofia. There are all equipments, kitchen and
bathrooms. Room will be 
double. 

- Training courses: we offer a lot of possibilities to participate in
special workshops and training (about working with people with
disabilities, making
project, etc)
- Language course: Bulgarian-100 hours per person. Sign language and
International sign language during the whole project
- Personal support - mentor, coordinator of work , coordinator of
project 

Procedure:
1. Each volunteer has to send CV and motivate letter to 
openinteractionassociation at abv.bg
2. Deadline: 15th of April. 
3. We'll contact the choosen volunteers and their sending
organizations.
4. We will need all papers (part 3, AA)
